North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Parks Commissioner Jill Weber, Wes Sternberg from the Planning Department and other town staff toured North Hempstead Beach Park with representatives from Quennell Rothschild & Partners, the firm that’s conducting the visioning and redesign of the park. The tour is the first step in this process, which will include multiple outreach opportunities this fall in order to gather input from residents.
“This first step is very exciting,” said Bosworth. “As we look at the nearly 90 acres that make up North Hempstead Beach Park, we all see the immense potential and look forward to transforming this park into a destination that everyone will enjoy for years to come.”
