Massapequa Park Celebrates Independence Day With Parade

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano attended the Village of Massapequa Park Independence Day MassParade_071316AParade on Monday, July 4. Mangano was joined by U.S. Congressman Peter T. King; NYS Assemblyman Joseph S. Saladino; Oyster Bay Town Councilman Joseph G. Pinto; Mayor of the Village of Massapequa Park, Jeffrey Pravato and members of the Village of Massapequa Park Board of Trustees and Ethics Board.

“Independence Day is a treasured holiday for our great nation as it honors the birth of the United States and the adoption of our Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776,” said Mangano. “This is also a day to honor all the men and women in our armed forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we hold so dear. As we fly our flags high on this Fourth of July, we take pride in our country—the land of the free and the home of the brave—the United States of America.”
