Before the excitement from the Great Neck Park District’s 100-Year Anniversary Celebration could die down, the park was buzzing as a production company shot a television show on Monday, Aug. 15. From 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Amazon Prime show Sneaky Pete filmed a scene for an upcoming episode at the Parkwood Sports Complex.
Most of the filming took place in the lower parking lot, which was closed to the public during shooting, but the Park District offered shuttle service from the upper lot to tennis players and pool members.
The professional crew completed shooting before expected.
