Four hundred daffodil bulbs were planted on Friday, Nov. 11, at the 28-acre Humes Property located in Mill Neck. White Flower Farms and Land Alliance Trustee Jonathan Moore generously donated the bulbs to aid The Land Alliance in their effort to continue to preserve and enhance our local landscape.
Nassau County Girl Scouts Cadet Troop #1196 of Floral Park donated their time and energy to, planting these wonderful spring bulbs.
The North Shore Land Alliance, Inc. (Land Alliance) is a nationally accredited land trust and 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2003 by a group of passionate conservationists concerned about how quickly the natural landscape was changing.
