Knight At The Races

The Knights of Columbus St. Kilian Council will present a night of wagering fun at its Council Hall, 1 Morton St., Farmingdale. Tellers open at 6:30 p.m., with meal at 7 p.m. and the races starting at 8 p.m. Tickets: $15 per person (includes food, beverages and dessert). Yoga

Business Resource Roundtable

The Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce presents a forum for chamber members to bring their specific business questions, issues or problems to a group of peers. Customers Bank, 324 South Service Rd., No. 300 in Melville, will be the location of the roundtable from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Based on their knowledge and experiences, attendees offer possible solutions and/or identify available resources that may assist in the solution. Roundtable participants can request solutions, offer experienced advice, and assist each other in bringing their companies to a higher level of performance. Attendance is limited, so registering is required. Free for members, $30 for non-members. The Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the new year by recognizing a group of businesses, organizations and affiliations for their achievements and Chamber involvement. School of Rock Open House

School of Rock Farmingdale, 540 Smith St., Farmingdale, will hold special demonstration classes and offer special discounts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Demonstrations for ages 3-7 run from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a session for ages 8-18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
