A second suspect was arrested for his role in stabbing and killing a 39-year-old Freeport man in Hempstead last year, Nassau County police said.
Jorge Poshon, 29, of Freeport, was charged with second-degree murder. A judge ordered him held without bail Saturday.
Homicide Squad detectives said Poshon, 34-year-old William Lopez of Hempstead, and a third suspect who has yet to be apprehended stabbed Rolando Cruz following an argument in front of El Nuevo bar on Fulton Avenue at 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
Lopez pleaded not guilty in September to second-degree murder and gang assault.
