Nassau County police are investigating a Valley Stream home invasion in which two masked assailants held a woman and three children at gunpoint on Monday evening, authorities said.

A 41-year-old woman answered a knock at the door of her Henrietta Street home when two men armed with handguns forced their way inside at 6:45 p.m., police said.

The gunmen corralled the woman, two 12-year-old girls and a 3-month-old girl into the living room, stole their cell phones and ransacked the home before the duo forced the victims into a bathroom and fled with jewelry, police said.

The victims, who were not injured, later exited the bathroom and called 911.

The suspects were described as black men wearing ski masks. The first suspect was 5’7” tall, 150 pounds wearing a heavy black jacket, blue jeans, white and black Nike sneakers and sunglasses. The second suspect was 6’2” tall and 185 pounds wearing a brown sleeveless jacket, a brown shirt, blue jeans and dark brown boots.

Fifth Squad detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
