Chabad of Great Neck is holding an open house on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its beautiful waterfront property at 400 East Shore Rd. to introduce its new Shalom Great Neck Social Adult Day Center, which will operate on Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The center will offer free transportation, meals and snacks and therapeutic activities that will challenge participants body and mind.
“Our dream was to create a space for adults who are no longer working, where they can enjoy themselves in a fun, safe, proactive environment,” said the creators of the program. “We provide education, entertainment and a social life for many of these adults. We are so glad to be living out our dream.”
