Former State Senator Jack Martins and former Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel really sold us out when they voted to authorize King Point Village’s land grab by voting to override court rulings and take land from Kings Point Park.
Now we learn that this “passive park” that Kings Point proposes to build along East Shore Road will deny access to non-Kings Point residents.
What an outrage to take park land away from the Great Neck Park District when this was supposed to be a trade-off, giving them the land in exchange for this proposed park.
The residents of the Great Neck Park District lost this land after being victorious in court, and now we’re told that Kings Point police officers will restrict access to only Kings Pointers.
