A 28-year-old driver from Queens and two of his passengers were killed when he crashed his car on the Northern State Parkway early Saturday morning.
New York State police said Raihan Islam, of Jamaica, was driving his Honda Accord eastbound when his vehicle exited the roadway and struck a tree west of exit 31 at 4:45 a.m.
Pronounced dead at the scene were 61-year-old Mohamed Alam and 34-year-old Ataur Dulal, both of Jamaica.
Islam and a third passenger, 36-year-old Al A. Mollah, also of Jamaica, were taken to Winthrop University Hospital where Islam was pronounced dead and Mollah was listed in critical condition.
