I agree with the resident who wrote about the mess at Parkwood Pool this summer in the Aug. 2 issue.
I, too, have seen people eating and drinking in unauthorized areas. I think the worst are the parents who bring underage children into the main pool. This is a safety hazard and also a bit unsanitary as they are wearing diapers. Parents also ignore the lifeguards who asked them politely to take the child out. I feel this is an accident waiting to happen.
What has happened to our beautiful pool? This summer has been a very bad experience and I do hope it gets fixed. Ignoring rules and regulations is not good for the pool-goer experience and for the pool itself. Clearly these situations should be addressed.
