Eligible voters will elect two people to the Board of Trustees for two four-year terms running from January 2018 to 2022 and two people to the Nominating Committee for two three-year terms that run from January 2018 to 2021 to fill the seats that will be expiring in January 2018. Those elected will take office at the Library Association Annual Reorganization Meeting on Jan. 30, 2018.
Candidates for Board of Trustees: For the four-year term that runs from January 2018–22 for the seat currently held by Michael Fuller, the Nominating Committee Candidate is Dr. Barry Smith. For the four-year term that runs from January 2018–22 for the seat currently held by Marietta DiCamillo, the Nominating Committee Candidate is Weihua Yan.
Candidates for Nominating Committee: For the three-year term that runs from January 2018–21 for the seat currently held by Marie Franzoni, the Nominating Committee Candidate is Cheng Ye and the Independent Candidate is Josie Pizer. For the three-year term that runs from January 2018–21 for the seat currently held by Omer Soykan, the Nominating Committee Candidate
is Samuel Gottlieb.
