Royal Tea House
Having afternoon tea complete with delicate china and delectable pastries, sounds like something out of a fairytale, but becomes a reality when walking into the newly opened Royal Tea House. Only open for a few short months, it’s already a popular spot for tea parties, private parties and upscale dining. The lunch menu, served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., is small, but offers a few options for starters, salads, soups, specialties and sandwiches, including the already renowned Royal Tea House Lobster Roll.
A dinner menu offers several main course dishes, each served with spiced vegetable purée, sautéed greens and garlic bread, and include seafood paella and pan-seared duck breast with fennel and arugula salad, glazed apples and blueberry sauce. Brunch replaces their lunch on weekends, with pastries, sandwiches and classic dishes. And, of course, their tea menu is extensive, boasting hot or iced various traditional English black, green, fruit and milk teas from all over the world, including their Cherry Almond Black Tea, a dessert tea that combines the flavor of plump red cherries with rich almond oil.
Their teas and coffee are paired perfectly with desserts, like rose cake and waffle with ice cream. For the ultimate English tea experience, check out their deluxe tea sets, in which treats are displayed on a traditional three-tier tea set.

T-swirl Crêpe
Coming soon to Middle Neck Road will be one of the latest food trends to take over New York, the modern grab-and-go crêpes that are widely popular in Japan. Savory crêpes include the Vegetarian Lover, with baby spinach, julienned carrots, shelled edamame, tofu rectangles, cucumbers, string beans, corn, raisins, tofu sauce and sesame dressing and the Angus Short Ribs, along with string beans, sesame seeds, chipotle aioli and tofu sauce.
Their sweet crêpe selection includes the Matcha Chocolate Truffles, with sliced strawberries, chocolate truffles, matcha custard cream, whipped yogurt, chocolate sauce and crushed pistachio, plus fruit-centric crêpes like Strawberry Banana, Blueberry NY Cheesecake and the T-Swirl Fruits Cocktail.
