The North Hempstead Country Club 18 Hole women golfers held their annual Member/Member golf tournament over a three-week period in June. In an elimination that narrowed the field of 10 teams to just four on the first day, the team of Mary Beth D’Angelo and Kristen Ryan won the Medalist prize for the lowest net score (61).
In the following match play rounds the Medalist winners faced off against Sheila Dunphy and Mary Breen, and the team of Grace Mahler and Chris Whitaker played Caryn Cirella and Lori Fleishhacker.
The final match, featuring Dunphy/Breen vs. Mahler/Whitaker, was held on Tuesday, June 26.
