SASS Foundation Golfs For A Cause

SASSFoundation AThe SASS Foundation for Medical Research’s 26th annual Golf Outing will take place on Monday, Oct. 15, at The Creek in Lattingtown. It will be a spectacular day of golf, great food, prizes and awards, all culminating in an evening filled with a sumptuous cocktail reception, lobster and filet mignon and decadent desserts overlooking the scenic Long Island Sound. Silent auctions, lucky bucks and raffles will also be part of this special day and evening, all for a great cause.

A portion of the proceeds from this event support breast cancer research. The SASS Foundation has been supporting breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since 2010 with The SASS Foundation Carol Litwin Memorial Award, is a multi-year research project that utilizes immunotherapy in women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Elizabeth Comen, the SASS Foundation researcher, will be at the dinner to update the participants on her vital research and its very positive outcomes.

The SASS Foundation is a 501c3 public charity in which all donations are tax deducible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Since 1986, it has been the mission of The SASS Foundation to fund vital research to help find a cure and save lives.
