It’s been a rough start for rookie New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold as he is dealing with the growing pains of playing in the NFL. He’s thrown more interceptions than touchdowns and has been getting knocked around by defenders. The Jets offense ranks near the bottom of the league, and despite a few nice games, Darnold shoulders blame for the team’s lack of success on that side of the ball.

With all that being said, no one should be worried about the 21-year old just yet. He has plenty of potential to be the future star the Jets drafted with the third overall pick. And there’s plenty of proof that high draft picks can rebound into having phenomenal careers after horrid rookie seasons.
