Gulliver (adoption # BF2605) and Gatsby (adoption #BF2606) lived together inside an auto body shop. When the shop was sold, this team of two year olds needed a new plan and North Shore Animal League America’s rescue team promised them brighter, safer future. Upon medical examination, vets discovered they both have hyper-cardiomyopathy, a medical condition covered through NSALA’s fully accredited Medical Center on their Port Washington campus.
While they are just monitoring Gatsby’s heart, Gulliver requires medication. The bond between these gentle friends will melt your heart. Can you offer this bonded pair a safe spot on your couch—their first ever—where they will sleep well, knowing they are finally home? If so, please contact DoritS@animalleague.org for more information about this kitty combo.
Boots (adoption # H200424) had depended on his best friend Quarter (adoption #H200425) their entire chaotic lives. Rescued locally, these 9-year-old brothers are settling into NSALA’s Adoption Center on their comfy beds and continue to find courage through their friendship.
Quarter has already begun to look to his new human caretakers for tender, loving care while Boots watches expectantly until he knows he’s safe…he’s a bit shy. f you would like to give these senior gents a fresh start, you will be rewarded with unending love.
