Hamlet
Hamlet

Available for adoption through Pioneers for Animals Welfare Society:

To adopt Hamlet today or take the chance of letting some other lucky person adopt him…that is the question. This amazing 6-year-old lab mix was found chained to a fence in the Bronx four years ago. He was soon adopted and showered with love, but according to his owners, became “too big” for their little child.

Hearts are broken for Hamlet, who is described as an absolute love who loves to play and adores people. He is fully vetted, neutered, dog-particular (cats unknown), and is suggested for a home without young children as he does not know his own strength. If you can make your home Hamlet’s home, call for more info today!

Brinley
Brinley

Brinley is an adorable, super sweet young mix breed. Like most 2-year-old gals, she has lots of energy. She loves to run and jump and play with her toys and with her ball. She’s good with children over 10 years old.

She weighs about 45-50 lbs. and since she’s not used to sharing her human(s), it may be best if she’s the only pet in the home. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She’s a beauty so don’t wait, adopt Brinley today!

Baxter 1
Baxter

Baxter is an adorable 10-year-old neutered and fully vetted beagle-pug mix. He was adopted when he was just 5 months old by a family that has loved him all this time but can no longer keep him. He is a very sweet, friendly dog and loves to give paw.

He is housebroken and good around children and other animals. He loves his toys, loves to play, loves his walks, and loves laying in the sun and being outside. He would be a wonderful addition to just about any family. How about yours?

If you can open your heart and home to Hamlet, Brinley or Baxter, please contact [email protected] or call 631-306-4616.

Snickerdoodle

Available for adoption at Little Shelter:

Snickerdoodle is an adorable little 3-year-old Chihuahua mix rescued from North Carolina after hurricane Florence. Snickerdoodle is an affectionate girl who loves getting attention from people and enjoys getting belly rubs all day long. She is a very gentle gal who likes going for walks and meeting new people. Snickerdoodle is looking for a special family of her very own that she can give lots of kisses to.

macy
Macy

Macy is a sweet adult kitty who loves people and dreams of having a human of her very own. She wants someone she can cuddle with and give all her affection to. Macy is known to shadow her favorite people around the cattery, following them wherever they go. However, she would like to be your “one and only” as she is shy around other animals.

Please contact Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center at 33 Warner Rd, Huntington, 631-368-8770 for more information about adopting Snickerdoodle and Macy today!

nicole
Nicole

Available for adoption at the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter:

Sweet Nicole waits by the window at the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter for her special someone to pull up and take her home. Nicole has an easy-going personality and really only wants two things: love and affection. When not seeking attention, Nicole can be found curled up in sunny spots by the window or all snuggled up in a bed.

She is a super-sweet snuggle bunny that would love to go home with you today. For more information about adopting Nicole, please contact the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter located at 104 Deposit Rd, East Northport, 631-651-9788.

TALIA
Talia

durian
Durian

Durian (adoption #R165383) is a shy fella looking for a family who will bring him confidence as he adjusts to his very first home. Paired with a confident feline friend, Durian’s fears melt away as he watches how easy it is to trust the humans caring for him.

This sweet 8-month-old, domestic short-haired kitten comes alive when it’s playtime and welcomes gentle ear rubs from his trusted companions. All he needs is a little patience and he’ll soon see that home is where he belongs. He’ll be offering you head rubs to show his appreciation in no time!  If you’d like to welcome Durian into your home, please reach out to [email protected]

Casper
Casper

Available for adoption at Bideawee:

This handsome 1-year-old boy is Casper. Sporting a brilliant white coat and expressive brown eyes, he is simply stunning. Sweet Casper has traveled all the way from Tennessee to find his forever family, and he is waiting very patiently to spend forever with them. Jubilant and enthusiastic, he’s always excited for the next adventure, the next new friend to make and the newest trick to learn.

Fiona 1
Fiona

Summer is here and Fiona is hoping she finally meets her forever family. She’s a sweet 2-year old girl who came to Bideawee all the way from the Bahamas to find her forever family. She is a gorgeous pup who enjoys nothing more than making friends and everyday playtime. She’s currently being treated for heartworm, so her play will have to be quieter until she is cleared. However, once she is in full health, this Bahaman beauty would love to get out of the house, make friends and go on adventures!

Jungle 1
Jungle

This handsome boy is Jungle. He is an entertaining 6-year-old kitty who knows how to charm, beguile and make the crowds roar with laughter. This adorable tuxedo feline is very people-oriented and loves to play and engage with his friends. Being active and enthusiastic, Jungle tends to get a little carried away at times and may play with extra vigor. Therefore, he’s being recommended for a mature, experienced and adult-only family for this fun fellow. Mr. Jungle might be able to live with another active kitty, but this should be considered on a case-by-case basis. He would just blossom if his future household could provide a good amount of space, exercise and healthy outlets for his energy and curiosity.

Amana 2
Amana

Meet lovely Amana. She’s an 8-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix who came to Bideawee in December 2017 after her owners could no longer care for her. Amana is a special cat in need of a gentle and loving home. She can be quite loving once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, but she’s very nervous in new places. She requires a patient owner who will help her feel at home in a new environment. Once Amana trusts you though there’s no greater feeling. She’ll snuggle up to you for attention. Either rubbing along your legs or curling up against your side. Amana lives with other cats here at Bideawee and may be able to go home to another friendly feline.

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
