Scores of supporters turned out to help Adventureland’s nonprofit Helping Hands Foundation Sept. 6 fundraiser benefiting its scholarship, community initiatives, and other charitable efforts.
The Tony Gentile Memorial Scholarship Fund has donated more than $60,000 to Long island students since 2013. And the nonprofit has donated thousands of toys, school supplies, coast, and thousands of pounds of food to charities across Long Island. The goal of this year’s fundraiser was to raise $200,000 to continue those efforts.
