Daisy and Rufus belong to a senior couple who sadly can no longer care for them. At 3 years old, Daisy is blind in one eye, but that doesn’t seem to stop her. She’s very playful and loves to be held. Her handsome brother, Rufus is somewhere between 5 and 8 years old, and is super sweet although he prefers not to be held as much as his little sis does.

It would be impossible to find a cuter bunch that Momma Cali and her three kittens, Murphy, Wallace, and Iggy. At 2 years old, Cali takes wonderful care of her kittens, cuddling with them and showing as much love as any mom can. She is such a chill and easy-going lady. All three kittens are super sweet, and like most kittens their age, when they aren’t snuggling with mommy, they love to play, run, climb and jump with their foster siblings. They were rescued in an East Meadow backyard at 9 weeks old and are 4 months old now. Decker is a stunning 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix that came to the shelter as an owner surrender in December 2018. His owners only had him for two months and originally got him from a colleague who was giving him away. Decker is house trained, crate trained, and knows the commands “sit” and “come.” Decker used to live with other dogs and even a cat! Decker is nervous with strangers, especially men, so he’s ideal home is with a very savvy owner. Decker is suffering from myesthenia gravis, which is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles.
