A waterfront property with some of the most dramatic views in Sag Harbor Village just hit the market Tuesday for $11.995 million. The home at 62 West Water Street is known as the “Osprey House” for its views of Sag Harbor Cove.

John Scott “JT” Thomas and Robert Stearns of Brown Harris Stevens hold the listing.

“Standing tall behind a gated entrance and manicured gardens, this five-bedroom, six-full-bath residence offers the rare privacy of a grand single-family home located just 2,100 feet from all the wonderful delights of Main Street,” the listing reads.

The approximately 5,000-square-foot home is set on 0.61 of an acre that includes a 16-foot-by-40-foot waterside pool, cabana with an outdoor shower, flower gardens, and private access to the beach.

“The front entrance of the home leads into a magnificent foyer with a staircase that graciously ascends to the sun-filled second level gallery,” the listing explains. “French doors lead into the living room that easily allows for two sitting areas to enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and sweeping water views.”

There is also a formal dining room that features a fireplace and an adjoining library. Oversized windows in the eat-in kitchen let the light pour in, while also capitalizing on the water views.

A large den, a recreation room and ensuite bedroom that even offers its own efficiency kitchen are also all found on the first level.

Upstairs is where the spacious primary bedroom suite can be found. It features a vaulted ceiling and French doors that lead out to the upper deck overlooking the cove.

Three ensuite guest bedrooms are also on the second level, separated from the primary suite with a central hallway that provides privacy.

In addition to the restaurants and shops on Main Street being so close, there is also the convenience of being near Sag Harbor’s marinas.
