The monthly North Shore Social event kicked off in a big way. The series is first to combine the Long Island networking world with the Island’s vibrant hospitality industry with great attendance and a terrific vibe.
Connections, fun and great food were all central themes, along with a 21 for Fun “Charity Showdown” tournament. Food pairing featuring ArtesaPanLI and the Long Island Dip Company were a huge hit with the crowd, as were top LI chef Chris LaVecchia’s great offerings. Steven Murphy “The Murph” was also in attendance to get the party going with his Murph’s Famous Bloody Mary Mix. Guests were also very happy to contribute to Camp Happy Tails NYC, who were on hand to raise much needed funds for the fantastic dog rescue.
The event was an extension of the popular Long Island Business and Community Facebook group and its strategic partners, IBO Networking, North Shore Hispanic Chamber of New York, Tradeworks NY, and the Nelson Rivera JR Allstate agency. They are organizing this series of monthly events geared towards the North Shore Nassau County area. Check out the groups’ next events on June 6 and the first Monday of each month going forward.
