Located on the New Suffolk waterfront, at the spot formerly occupied by the Galley Ho bar, Minnow is the newest restaurant on Long Island’s North Fork. Popular Greenport Chef Cheo Avila uses local, organic, and seasonal ingredients at this sustainable seafood joint, where all fish are line-caught. The restaurant held a soft launch in May and is now open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner and Thursday through Sunday for lunch.

Entree options include the house-smoked bluefish pate ($21), chicken Milanese ($38), Long Island duck frites ($51), spaghetti con crudo ($37), and many more. There are also wines, specialty cocktails, beers, and desserts on the menu.

This wood-fired pizza and cocktail restaurant recently opened right across from the Wantagh Long Island Rail Road station. It offers main dishes, pizza, and pasta, as well as Italian sandwiches for lunch – plus cocktails, wine, and beer.

Dinner plates include the crispy calzone with burrata, mortadella, and pesto ($20), spicy rigatoni vodka suppli ($14), crispy artichokes ($16), and pizza bread with rosemary and honey parmesan ($10). Lunch sandwiches include the roasted pork ($16), Italian ($16), and meatball ($16). Oven-roasted wings ($13) and a side of meatballs ($14) also make an appearance on the lunch menu.
