Trahanas Hospitality Group is set to open its newest restaurant, The Union, next Tuesday, September 26, in Eisenhower Park. The Union will be the group’s third location, joining The Lannin and The General, all in Eisenhower Park.

The venue is a remodel of the former home of The Carltun on the Park, which underwent a $7 million dollar renovation. Amenities include a dining room with over 100 seats and 20 person Open Sushi bar, along with a secondary dining area with a view of Eisenhower Park Golf Course.

Offerings include small plates, pizzas, salads, sandwiches and italian specialties, as well as a full service bar. The bar will offer beer, wine, scotch, bourbon and Japanese sake. Wines come from various parts of the world, including Long Island to California’s North Folk, France, Italy, South America and Spain.

Elias Trahanas, co-founder of Trahanas Hospitality Group is excited for the restaurant’s opening.  “Coupled with our banquet facility, The Lannin, and our members-only lounge, The General, we are providing a trio of experiences under one roof that will excite and attract a wide variety of diners from around the region.”

Reservations for The Union can be made by The Union’s website or through Open Table.

The menu is vast, and includes meat options like wagyu beef meatballs, slow smoked ribs, steak sandwiches, skirt steak, meatloaf, or roast Chicken. Salad options at The Union include Caesar, Greek, and chopped wedge, with the option to add chicken, shrimp, or salmon.

As for side options, The Union has whipped potatoes, steak fries, roasted mushroom and onions, creamed spinach, grilled asparagus, and broccoli rabe.

Trahanas Hospitality Group owns The Lannin, The Union and The General — all in Eisenhower Park. Trahanas also operates the concessions at Jones Beach and Robert Moses State Park.
