Long Island-Based Movie ‘It’s Love, Bro’ Premieres At Sayville Theater

“It’s Love, Bro” is an independent romantic comedy filmed on Long Island. After a successful premiere in front of about 350 people and covered by News 12 in June, it has won Best Feature Film at the Montauk Film Festival and Mindfield ABQ Film Festival, Best Comedy at Atlantic City Cinefest, and Best Comedy, Best Editing in a Feature and Best Comedic Performances by Thaddeus Plezia & Frank Failla at NYLIFF (New York Long Island Film Festival).

Besides film festivals, “It’s Love, Bro” has been seen in Tampa, FL, as well as multiple sold-out screenings at theaters here on Long Island, including South Shore Theater in Lindenhurst and, most recently, in January, in front of a packed house at the newly renovated Sayville Theater in Sayville.

After its immensely successful screening in January, moviegoers have another chance to follow Bob and Jeri on their roller coaster office romance, surrounded by unforgettable quirky characters at Sayville Theater this Valentine’s Week on Tues. Feb 13th and Thurs. Feb 15th. “It’s Love, Bro” is a great example of Long Island’s growing film community. It is a film with a true independent spirit, which “… really shows what you can do with a low budget” – The Wasteland Reviewer (YouTube). “Where this movie really shines is the chemistry between [Ventre & Gilchrist]” – The Film Geek (YouTube)
