After many years of service to the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Port Washington, Alan and Sue Dinn have retired. Town of North Hempstead Councilmember Mariann Dalimonte recently congratulated the Dinn family on their retirement by presenting them with a Proclamation of Recognition on behalf of the town for their admirable work at the church.

“Alan and Sue have been married for 54 years and inseparable partners in all pursuits,” said Councilmember Dalimonte. “Alan has been a life-long member of St. Stephen’s and became the Lay Reader, Eucharistic Minister, and Clerk of the Vestry. Sue served as the Alter Guild revitalized and maintained the cloister garden, and helped run the plant sales at the fair and carnival every year. Thank you, Alan and Sue, for your many years of devoted service and faithful example.”
