Teen Showcase: Robert Finley Middle School “Aladdin”
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Glen Cove Village Square) Before Downtown Sounds begins, students from the Robert Finley Middle School production of “Aladdin” will perform. This is just one way that the Glen Cove Business Improvement District aims to incorporate the community into their events. Come support young, local talent and stay afterwards for the concert series.
Downtown Sounds
7:30 p.m. (Glen Cove Village Square) The Glen Cove Business Improvement District began its annual concert series on July 5. Every Friday this summer, there will be a free concert for residents in the Village Square. This Friday, Milagro Santana Tribute Band. Streets will be closed down for patrons to safely enjoy the concert series and restaurants will stay open to serve patrons. Vendors will attend the event as well. 7:00 p.m. (Morgan Memorial Park, Glen Cove) On July 21, the Morgan Park Music Festival continues its concert series with “100 Years of Broadway.” The event will feature top Broadway vocalists singing classic hits. This concert is sponsored In Memory of Nancy Epstein and by Sondra and David Mack.

Oyster Bay Cruise Night
5:30 p.m. (Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay) Every Tuesday night this summer, the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce hosts its Cruise Night, which is Long Island’s most popular car show. The street will be shut down for patrons to walk through, and restaurants, shops and businesses will remain open for residents to enjoy.

Family Yoga
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Locust Valley Public Library Community Room) Join yoga instructor Kristen for an energizing and relaxing yoga class. Kristen has worked with families throughout her career in nonprofit management and now shares her personal love of yoga with all children and adults as a way to play, recharge, connect and relax. Ballet with Cinderella
10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. (Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library Community Room) A professionally trained dancer, Royal Princess Prep’s Cinderella will offer a ballet class to kids ages 3-7. This full ballet class is complete with proper technique and free dance at the end. At the end of the class, Cinderella will pose for pictures with your little one!
