The Parker Jewish Institute will host its annual gala on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at The Village Club at Lake Success. Guests can look forward to live music, a gourmet dinner, a patient-art auction and an evening filled with celebration.
All gala proceeds will enhance Parker’s programs and services for patients and residents, while also supporting the thousands who depend on the Institute’s continuum of care each year.
The institute is a leading provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, patient-centered health care and technology, has its own medical team and is nationally renowned as a skilled nursing facility, as well as a provider of community-based health care.
The 2025 gala will feature a gourmet dinner, with elegant kosher offerings and Indian cuisine available upon request. WCBS 880’s Marla Diamond will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Radio Host and Rabbi Joseph Potasnik will lead the Hamotzi, the blessing over bread. The evening’s entertainment will include a performance by Wanda Houston, whose repertoire spans jazz and rhythm and blues. Guests will have the opportunity to bid in the Patient Artwork Auction, showcasing the creativity of Parker’s talented artists.
This year’s honoree is SmartLinx, a workforce management company, in recognition of the firm’s generous support of Parker and its mission.
“We’re really looking forward to this year’s gala at The Village Club at Lake Success,” said Michael N. Rosenblut, president and CEO of the Parker Jewish Institute. “We’re so thankful to our donors and sponsors, and to our volunteers. Their dedication helps improve the lives of so many people in our community.”
