Together, Arlo Guthrie and Taj Mahal comprise a still-evolving tapestry of Americana more than half a century in the making, stitched from the finest threads and songs and hymns in the collective canon, in all its various shapes and sounds, and are the living, breathing embodiment of sheer musical genius.
A shining roster of great musicians from the jazz world and beyond will be on stage at Heckscher Park in Huntington Village to make the air resound and help raise funds for the restoration of John Coltrane's last home in Dix Hills.
