Creek Club Hosts SLCD’S 10th Annual Golf Outing August 17

Event Includes: Cocktail Hour and Steak and Lobster Fest

Registration is now open for the School for Language and Communication Development’s (SLCD) Tenth Annual Golf Outing on Monday, Aug. 17, at The Creek in Locust Valley. “We are positive this year’s golf outing will not disappoint,” said Dr. Ellenmorris Tiegerman, president and founder of SLCD. “Our golf outing is the perfect opportunity for golfers to play their favorite sport knowing their golfing experience will help children with special needs.” By participating in this event, SLCD supporters and friends help raise funds that will directly benefit students at both SLCD schools in Glen Cove and Woodside. Registration and brunch for the outing begin at 10 a.m., along with an open driving range for all participants. The official shotgun time is at noon.

After the golf portion of the outing, SLCD will host a cocktail hour and steak and lobster fest. This portion of the night is open for everyone to attend. While dining on surf and turf, guests will have the opportunity to bid on a number of items in a silent auction and have the chance to win a variety of raffle prizes. Tickets are $600 per golfer or $2,300 per foursome. Tickets for the steak and lobster fest are $200 per guest. There are a variety of sponsorship levels still available for interested companies and individuals alike.
