Vincent J. Maietta, of Hicksville, died on Sept. 21, 2009. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a 50-year member of K of C Joseph Barry Council and head usher at St. Ignatius RC Church. Husband of Eleanora G. Father of Laura Jean, Thomas C., Donna M. Silvestri (Michael), Linda R. Oats (Thomas), Virginia S. Consiglio (Michael), Victoria A. Hecker (Eric) and Vincent M. Grandfather of 11. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at St. Ignatius RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
