I am writing to thank all those in the 17th Legislative District who supported my candidacy for county legislator throughout the campaign and by exercising your right to vote on Nov. 3.
Additionally, the wonderful residents of the Town of Oyster Bay have always been there to offer assistance and encouragement as well as to relay their concerns so that I could help to build on making the town an even better place to live and I thank them for allowing me to serve.
As a new member of the county legislature, I am confident in my ability to work with all of the other members of the legislature as we address the difficulties that face our county. I will continue to work hard for every resident of my district as I embark on this new challenge and I am confident the future will hold success if we continue to work together for our common goals.
While I have truly enjoyed the years I have served as councilwoman for the Town of Oyster Bay, I will devote my time and energy to being a voice of reason for the residents of the county. I thank you again for your support and the confidence you have placed in me.
