The Lady Dalers Lacrosse team, defending 2009 New York State Champions, defeated Planedge 17-8 recently to start the 2010 season.
The Lady Dalers lead with a score of 13-3 at halftime. Melanie Raso led the Lady Dalers with four goals and one assist while Alyssa Cardillo had three goals and four assists. Kelly McPartland scored three goals, Jamie Leone three, and Colleen Reynolds, Krislyn Engleke, Kyra Ochwat, and Maegan Meritz all scored goals for the team. Lady Dalers goalie Alex Gurecki had 13 saves.
The Lady Dalers will play the Massapequa Chiefs at Burns Park on April 6 at 4:15 p.m.
