During County Executive Ed Mangano’s State of the County speech this week, he outlined a long list of goals – fixing assessment, cutting waste, creating jobs, rebuilding our parks and even exploring the possibility of a tunnel to Connecticut. All I care about is, how is he going to lower our taxes!
Mr. Mangano ran on the “Tax Revolt” line and campaigned on the premise that if elected, he’d lower our taxes. He has provided no details to how he hopes to accomplish this. He says he repealed the “Energy Tax” – but why are we still paying? Take a look at your tax bill Mr. Mangano… you’re still paying too.
