Midshore Mothers Center Open House/Group Registration
The Midshore Mothers’ Center, 610 Carmans Rd, Farmingdale, is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization of mothers helping mothers from local communities. The center offers discussion groups, mommy and me classes, craft, book and healthy moms clubs, yoga classes, workshops and lots of other activities year-round. The open house will be held at 7:30 p.m. Come and enjoy coffee and cake while you are introduced to all the programs offered. Registration is now underway for the winter/spring mommy and me and painting and me classes. These are interactive play programs, with classes available for children from six months through preschool age and their parent or caregiver to share. The program includes story time, playtime, music, movement, arts and crafts and snack. A modified separation class is offered for children over 2-1/2 years old. Mill Neck Family’s fourth annual Spring Swing Invitational Golf Tournament will be held at the North Hills Country Club in Manhasset on May 24. Sportscaster and author Len Berman will join the event, where he’ll play golf and speak at the Champions Dinner. Entries are limited to the first 25 men’s, ladies’ or mixed foursomes. All golfers will receive an autographed copy of Berman’s new book The Greatest Moments in Sports. Additional copies will be available for purchase.
