Third Squad detectives report the arrest of a Dix Hills man for sexual abuse that allegedly occurred on April 19, at 11:30 a.m. in Garden City.
According to detectives, Alfred Magrella, 56, of Dix Hills, a professor at Nassau Community College is charged with Sexual Abuse and Forcible Touching for an incident that occurred at the college involving a female victim. The defendant did engage in inappropriate sexual contact with a female student, police stated.
On Friday, April 30, the defendant was arrested at his residence and charged with Forcible Touching, Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree and was arraigned on Friday, April 30, in First District Court, Hempstead.
