Obituary – Edward J. Shillitto

Edward J. “Fast Eddie” Shillitto , of East Farmingdale, passed away on May 20, 2010. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired employee of Con Edison after 41 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and the Over the Hill Gang. Husband of Arlene. Father of Darlene (Brad), Joan (Matthew), Lauren (Michael) and Eddie (Caitlin). Grandfather (Grumps) of Molly and Jackson. Also survived by many other family members and friends. A fun-filled man, Eddie will be sorely missed by all. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
