The Saint Kilian Saints baseball team capped off their perfect 12-0 CYO season with an 11-2 championship game victory. James Sotis got the start and was outstanding; he went six innings giving up only one earned run to earn the win. The Saints got clutch RBI hits from Aaron Powell, Brendan Nocella, Nick Panza, and Nico Rivera but the offensive star of the game was Phil D’Abbraccio who hit a three-run, fence-clearing home run to the deepest part of the ball field to give the Saints a 6-0 lead. Aaron Powell closed the game out by striking out the side in the seventh inning.
