Obituary – Evelyn Hajdusek

Evelyn Hajdusek, born in 1918, was a resident of Bethpage for 59 years. She is now reunited with her husband, Johnny, who passed away in August 2006. They were married for 67 years before his passing. Her children, John, Rosemary, Marion and Richard (Suzanne) survive her. In addition, she leaves her son-in-law Daniel; three grandchildren; a great- granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. She had many friends, including her most cherished friend Tecla Shaw. In her younger days she enjoyed canasta, bridge, bowling and dancing with her Johnny. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held June 18 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church with interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park. A donation in her name to the Nassau County Fire Fighters Burn Center Foundation (P.O. Box 246, Levittown, NY 11756) would be appreciated by her family.
