Mystery Picture Remains a Mystery!
This week the mystery picture is still a mystery. Still thank you to our callers.
Rhoda Crawford of Bayville suggested the photograph in the July 29 issue of the Enterprise Pilot was “a little park behind the library in Oyster Bay.” She said, “My granddaughter is coming in from California, Genvieve McKay, and we’ll take her down to the St. Rocco Festival. We are going to have a big family party on Saturday with all the McKays. The party will be at my daughter Susan Bohner’s home in Bayville. They all migrate there. It’s a nice time.”
Billy Minicozzi said “The July 22 picture was of the Sagamore Yacht Club.” He guessed the July 29 picture was of a building in Upper Brookville.”
On a sports note he said that on Sunday, Aug. 1, as new members of the Mets Hall of Fame were inducted, out on the field was Hall of Famer 87-year-old Ralph Kiner, among others. Billy was also happy to see that football training camps for the Jets and the Giants are opening in New Jersey this weekend.
We look forward to some calls about the mystery picture. It’s going to be another fun week in Oyster Bay!
Today, Aug. 5, our publication day, is the annual ArtWalk event in the hamlet – which again promises to be something special!
