Obituary: Frederic A. Krahn

Frederic A. Krahn, 93, of Hicksville, died on Nov. 16, 2010. He was a founding member of the Hicksville Public Library Book Club, founding member of the east Meadow Film Society and editor of the Educational Film Guide 1949-55. He is survived by his son Rick Krahn (Peggy Rakas); daughter Liz Rock (David); and grandchildren, Heather, Michael and Julianna. Reposed at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home. Services Nov. 19 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Nov. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. Cremation private.
