Andrew Rosch Places First In Bowling Tournament

Eleventh grader Andrew Rosch of Farmingdale is no stranger to the game of bowling. On Sunday, Jan. 9 he participated in the Long Island High School Doubles Bowling Tournament held at the North Levittown Lanes. For the second consecutive year Rosch placed first, including earning Highest Game.

He attends Holy Trinity Diocesan High School and has been a member of the Varsity Bowling Team for the past two years. Last year, Holy Trinity came in first place and then went on to win the 2009-2010 NSCHSAA League Championship. Along with participating in his high school team, Rosch has been a member of the St. Martins Bowling Team.

A few of Rosch’s accomplishments include placing third in the Garden City Turkey Day Tournament, won a Junior Bowling Tournament on his first attempt; his highest game to date is a score of 289.

Andrew is also a member of the Holy Trinity Golf Team for the past two years as well as a member of the Metropolitan Junior Golf Association. When he is not bowling or playing golf, he participates in swim meets as a member of the St. Kilian CYO Swim Team.
