The Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich is delighted to be joining thousands of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country in celebrating National Boys & Girls Club Week, March 21 – 25. Members of the club’s Before, After and Drop-In Programs will be participating in activities throughout the week to celebrate! Special gym, arts and crafts, and gamesroom tournaments and friendly competitions are planned. The club will wrap-up Boys & Girls Club Week with its very first “Family Volleyball Night!”
Please join club members, along with their family and friends, to participate in this fun event. This event will be held on Friday, March 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free but club members and their guests are encouraged to sign up early on a team and play with their family and friends. There is sure to be a great time had by all! Refreshments for members and their guests will be available for purchase. Parents must provide supervision for children and their guests.
In order to attend the “Family Volleyball Night,” at least one participant must be a Boys & Girls Club member. A fee of $35 and completion of the membership application by a parent/guardian is all that is required to join. Membership is through May 31, 2011.
