In their first winter league ever, the girls 3/4th grade Lady Riders team finished in second place overall. The Lady Riders played a fantastic season ending with a 9-1 record. The girls played against teams from Rockville Center, Garden City, and Seaford to name a few. Their one loss during the season was to Port Washington, in a very close one-point game!
The girls played very hard every Saturday night and showed off their great lacrosse playing skills. The playoff game was against Wantagh, who the Lady Riders had beat twice during the regular season.
It was a phenomenal game, with the Lady Riders coming back from an early two-point deficit to keep the game very close. It was never more than a one-point difference for the duration of the game. The Lady Riders fought hard and only lost the game by one point, with the final score of 8-7.
