The new issue hit stands today and featured Kim in a custom Vera Wang wedding gown–which was one of three that she wore on her big day.
Saturday marked Kim Kardashian’s big day. The 30-year-old reality star wed New Jersey Nets basketball player Kris Humphries, 26, whom she announced she was engaged to back in May.
Kardashian told the magazine, “It was like we were in heaven,” and Humphries added, “I’m going to remember how perfect it was.”
The wedding cost a reported $20 million and was held at a California mansion among 400 of their closest friends and family that included the likes of Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan. But the bride said glam wasn’t the main goal.
She told the magazine, “Glam aside, that wasn’t our main goal. It was really about our family and each other.”
Hard to believe her goal was achieved while cameras were rolling through the entire ceremony and reception. The wedding will be televised two-part special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, on Oct. 9 and 10. on E!
The guests at Kim’s wedding were asked to wear only black and white. Kim’s bridal party sported white gowns like she did, as she walked down the aisle donning an ivory Vera Wang gown with a jeweled headpiece.
The ceremony will be televised as a two-part special on E! in October and photos will be published this Friday in People.
