Cheyenne Jackson Married his partner, Monte Lapka in the Hamptons this weekend.
“It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no long a bastard,”
Jackson tweeted of his wedding to Lapka, a physicist. “Married the best man I’ve ever known.”
For those unaware of Zora’s identity, it’s the couple’s dog.
The two married Saturday and we have a pretty good idea what the ceremony was like thanks to an earlier interview.
According to E!, Jackson told NBC before Marriage Equality Act was passed in New York of his wedding plans.
“My dream wedding involves just close friends and good music…Our dog would be there. Our dog, our daughter, Zora….Pretty boring, but something just nice and on the beach,” he said.
The actor is best known for his role on NBC’s hit show 30 Rock on which he plays Danny Baker. He also has a role on another hit show, Glee. He plays a vocal coach named Dustin Goolsby.
Besides acting, Jackson has been active as a LGBT rights supporter and amfAR ambassador.
