Man Robs Port Jefferson Station IHOP Patrons at Knifepoint

Early this morning, a man wielding a chef’s knife and wearing a bandana covering his face robbed Port Jefferson Station IHOP patrons.

At 7:30 a.m., four people were eating at the restaurant located at 513 Route 112, when a man described as approximately 6 feet tall and in his 20s came in holding a knife and demanding cash. After taking the patron’s cash, he fled on foot.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. The man was described as white, in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, between 180 and 200 pounds and was wearing dark clothing.
