Nassau Community College Professor of biology Betsy Gulotta, Conservation Project manager, leads people on a path as she points to goldenrods, butterfly weed and blue curls, and identifies the interesting (as their names suggest) grasses: big bluestem and little bluestem, prairie beard grass, Indian grass and switchgrass, all populating the western prairies.
