Courtney Love made some shocking claims in a recent issue of Vanity Fair.

She spoke to Vanity Fair’s, Nancy Jo Sales about what she would do if her husband, Kurt Cobain, was still alive—he committed suicide in 1994.

“Mad? Ya think?! If he came back right now I’d have to kill him, for what he did to us. I’d fucking kill him. I’d **** him, and then I’d kill him,” 47-year-old Courtney Love told the Vanity Fair contributor.

Love met musician Kurt Cobain in 1989 in a club where Nirvana was performing. They were later reacquainted through friend Jennifer Finch, who was dating Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl. The two began dating in 1991 and were married in Hawaii in 1992.

Six months after the wedding, daughter Frances Bean was born. She spoke about Bean to Vanity Fair— Bean emancipated herself from Love two years ago.

“All I can feel is how much I love her,” Love said in the interview. “I’d give anything to hear the sound of her heels walking down the hall past my bedroom.”

Love’s relationship with her daughter has always been turbulent. She lost custody following her birth and again after a 2003 overdose, she temporarily lost custody of the 13-year-old.

The interview comes on the heels of news that she would be penning a tell-all. Just this month, it was announced she was writing a memoir about her life with Kurt Cobain, her Hollywood career and her substance abuse issues. It’s expected to be released in the fall of 2012.

Love once referred to as “The most controversial woman in rock history,” by Rolling Stone, is best known for co-founding rock band, Hole in 1989. Her most famous albums include, “Live Through This,” and “Celebrity Skin.”

She’s also known for her film roles including “Sid and Nancy” and “The People vs. Larry Flynt.”

Following Cobain’s death, Love dated actor Edward Norton and Trent Raznor and comedian Steve Coogan.
