A video has gone viral featuring Beyonce sitting down for an Australian interview on”Sunday Night HD.”
The video has sparked rumors that Beyonce is faking her pregnancy. The video shows the singer sitting down and the baby bump is seen folding and collapsing.
Tuesday, Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, told ABC News that the allegations are “stupid, ridiculous and false.”
So why would Beyonce rock a fake bump? rumors are swirling that she is having her baby through a surrogate. Or maybe she just wants to add drama to her smaller, less prominent bump.
This week’s rumors follow similar rumors from this year’s MTV VMA show where Beyonce was accused of wearing a fake baby bump.
During the show, she and husband, Jay-Z first revealed they were expecting a child– Beyonce shared the news on the black carpet and posed for pictures holding her bump.
The rumors started when photos of the singer, post-VMAs, surfaced showing Beyonce with less of a bulging belly. MediaTakeOut took note of the differing belly sizes and posted before and after photos, reporting that although Beyonce is pregnant, she’s not in her second trimester as her belly portrayed at the VMAs, instead she’s only a little more than eight-weeks pregnant.
Beyonce’s pregnancy added quite the amount of drama to the awards show. According to the Associated Press, her pregnant performance at the MTV Video Music Awards sparked a Twitter record– When Beyonce performed that Sunday night, there were 8,868 tweets per second and Twitter said that rate was a record for the service.
Beyonce performed in a tuxedo outfit and at the end, took a moment to unbutton her bejeweled blazer and rubbed her belly as the audience applauded. Proud pop-to-be Jay-Z applauded for his wife and got a hug from Kanye West.
